Good day,
On behalf of Open Heart Project, I Carmen Lindewal, would like to take this opportunity to thank Brito’s Meat Centre for your kind donation of 70kg Albertinia sausage on 23 December 2021.
With your support, we were able to feed 800 less privileged people with a decent meal on Christmas day, which consist of a chicken leg quarter, sausage, lamb chop, and three salads.
Emotions were high as we served the meals and the appreciation on the faces of those who received it was very heartwarming. There were mixed emotions of joy and tears, especially in the homes where there was literally nothing to eat.
Thank you once again for your kindness and generosity towards “Project Happy Heart” Christmas lunch and being a part of making it a huge success.
Please note we do not take any photos of people receiving meals on Christmas day but we have taken of the preparations for the lunch. Also included of three people who gave consent that their photos may be used.
